- Plan and design the network infrastructure as well as enterprise network solutions?
- Troubleshoot, install, implement and administer network systems?
- Analyze capacity issues and develop short and long-term capacity plans to handle future demands?
- Ensure planned testing activities are executed and develop network security guidelines?
- Analyze network activity to discover and prevent systematic errors?
- Recommend network design changes / enhancements for improved systems availability and performance?
- Analyze and rectify network deficiencies to enhance network performance?
- Assess network performance to ensure it meets the present and future needs of the business?
- Present deliverables in line with documentation standards and practices, and documentation templates along with specific reference to technical specifications and network documentation?
- Design technical solutions and coordinate with the other IT team members to ensure timely and accurate implementation?
- Manage your own workload to achieve results to agreed standards and within agreed time frames?
- Provide regular progress reports and recommendations to line manager to improve network structure and utilization?
Do you have the following qualifications?
- BS Computer science or engineering
- Cisco certifications CCIE R&S “ Preferable” , or ( CCNP Min.)
- Cisco certifications Voice (CCVP Preferable)
- Network related CISCO certification (Routing and Switching)
- 8 years of experience in networking field.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines?
- Excellent communication skills and customer service.
- ITIL Foundation.
Are you able to perform/utilize?
- Installation and maintenance of CSCO Routers and Switches, network design, WAN connectivity
- Deep knowledge on Data, Security, Voice and Video networks
- Analytical thinking, ability to spot and troubleshoot network issues.
- Solid understanding with hands-on experience in:
- Routing & Switching (especially EIGRP, BGP, RIP).
- Data centers and campus network topologies.
- Cisco platforms (core Switches, Routers and firewall ).
- Internet & WAN connectivity with multi-homing & BGP routing, EIGRP, IPSec+GRE & Dynamic Multipoint VPN.
- Deep knowledge on network technologies and background about network vendors and suppliers
- Experience on Network operation environment.
