Job Purpose:

The Business and Systems Development Assistant will support the Business and Systems Development team in analyzing, designing, and implementing new business processes and information systems. This role requires a unique combination of technical and business skills, as the successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and ensure seamless integration of new systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Business and Systems Development Manager in analyzing and identifying areas for business process and systems improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and implement new systems, processes, and solutions.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices in business process management and systems development.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation, including process maps, system requirements, user guides, and training materials.
  • Support the testing and implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring a smooth transition for all stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, recommending and executing adjustments as needed.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members and end-users, as required.
  • Adapting Wireframes themes and designing new ones with other developers and/or clients.
  • Assist in the definition, design, and development of Power Platforms and user interfaces.
  • Contribute to the tracking and reporting times and efforts invested in the assigned tasks.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in business process analysis, systems development, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of project management tools.
  • Familiarity with business process modeling, system development methodologies, and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present information to various stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
