It was on January 31st, 9:30 a.m. right after everyone registered at Rosewood Hotel Jeddah and had a nice sip of coffee, that the big event “Integrated Infrastructure & Availability from Digital Transformation leaders” began.

Held by Digital Transformation Leaders: Cisco, Veeam, Microsoft and Ctelecoms, the event was extremely fun, and most importantly it provided the opportunity for attendees to gain new insights and enable their businesses to deliver seamlessly integrated digital life experiences.

The first keynote session was delivered by Mr. Cameron McDonald talking about Veeam Availability Solutions for Cisco UCS & HyperFlex, and how Veeam is highly complementary with Cisco Hyperflex hyperconverged infrastructure, providing a foundation for service providers to offer BRaaS, DRaaS and offsite cloud backups via Veeam cloud connect.

Another highlight of the event was the keynote delivered by Mr. Osama Hamed who spoke on ‘Cisco Integrated Solutions with Veeam’ and how Cisco hyperflex servers simplify management and increase operational efficiency as well as adaptability to more datacenter workloads.

The next keynote was presented by Mr. Ali Khawaja who shed the light on the Microsoft Azure Stack, its contribution to enriching digital transformation and the spate of benefits that businesses will gain by adopting this journey.

“The Cisco Integrated System for Microsoft Azure Stack” was the theme of another keynote session that Mr. Osama Hamed delivered. This time focusing on the advantages of Cisco System for Microsoft Azure Stack, and how it offers unique Hybrid cloud experience for multiple platforms.

The last keynote session was delivered by Mr. Mohammed Sohail, Ctelecoms Cloud Transformation Manager, who took the time to speak about Ctelecoms’ unique variety of Cloud Backup Products which include: (Cloud VM Backup, Cloud PC Backup and Cloud O365 Backup), and how these solutions enable businesses to backup and quickly restore their entire operations, systems, data and applications no matter the disaster. Feedback questions were all answered, of course, and right after that, the quick game was conducted and the lucky winner was Majid Abdulqawi, who won the event’s grand prize: “Smart Phone”. The rest of the attendees also received a special gift – a “power bank” with Cisco, Veeam, Microsoft Ctelecoms’s logo.
