We are also proud to announce Microsoft's important step forward in allowing the market place to accept a wider customer audience to buy and organize more than 3,000 offerings from Microsoft through Azure Marketplace.

PURCHASING FROM THE AZURE MARKETPLACE:

-Search or browse in use applications and services available in Azure.

-Select an offering to learn more about the application or service.

-click "create" to begin purchasing. Provide your username and password info and pricing tier.

Noting that indirect customers will need to contact the reseller for pricing details for offerings

Complete the process and deploy the offering in Azure. You will see the application or service in the Azure Management Portal start board.

Billing

Purchasing from the marketplace will be done in the same way as Azure services with the exception that your reseller will send you a notification for any spare purchases against your EA.

Managing your subscriptions

You may view all your marketplace subscriptions in the "manage subscriptions" page in the Microsoft Azure Enterprise Portal, but for the time being, information regarding costs or spending is unavailable.

Your enterprise Administrator can activate or deactivate market place purchases for all Azure subscribers, they can also download all account files and subscription usage involved with registration in the MAEP, if you get your Marketplace purchases deactivated but have active subscriptions, they will not be in any way effected or cancelled.

Please keep in mind that you must have a Microsoft Azure subscription to buy anything from Azure Marketplace. Also note that no standard Microsoft discounts and credit can be given due to the costs being set by the marketing publishers.
